How do I know which products are in stock? And what happens if I order products that are not in stock?
You can see the stock quantity and availability on every product page and in your Shopping Cart. The most common product availabilities are:
This product is physically in stock at our Vancouver location and ready to ship out immediately.
Ships in 3-6 days or Ships in 4-8 days
This product is not in stock today at our Vancouver location but we can get it for you and ship it out quickly. It's available from our suppliers, we will order it for you as soon as we receive your order and normally ship it out within 3-6 or 4-8 business days (often much quicker).
Ships in 1-2 weeks or Ships in 2-3 weeks
This product is available to order but currently on back-order with our suppliers. You can order it any time and we will ship it out to you as soon as it's available. The sooner you order the better, as we ship these items with limited availability on a first-come first-served basis. We will update you as soon as we have a confirmed delivery date, and of course you can change or cancel your order any time before it ships.
Available for pre-order
This is a new product has not yet been released. We list products like this when they're expected to be released soon and either the initial quantity is limited or we're expecting an especially high demand, so that it's likely the product will sell out quickly. If you want to be sure of receiving the product as soon as it's released then we recommend you pre-order online as soon as possible. We will of course update you as soon as we have a confirmed delivery date, and you can make changes to your order or cancel it and receive a full refund any time before it has shipped.
If you place an order for products that are in stock then your order will ship out within 1 business day (as soon as your payment has been processed). If you order online before 1pm Pacific Time, 4pm Eastern Time, on any business day (Monday to Friday, except public holidays) then we will normally process your order and ship out in-stock products the same day.
If you place an order for products that are not in stock then we'll ship them within the time shown. So for example you can expect us to ship out a product listed as "Ships in 3 to 6 days" within no more than 6 business days (usually less) after you place your order. You can check on the status of your order any time at My Order.
If you place an order for some products that are in stock, and some that are not in stock then on step 3 of the online checkout process you can choose exactly how we should process your order, and when we should ship each product (i.e. wait until all products are in stock, or ship the in-stock items immediately). Please note that we charge shipping costs once per shipment, so if we split your order into several different shipments then we will charge the shipping costs shown during checkout each time. If your order is showing free shipping during checkout then of course each shipment is free.
